I can't say I'm surprised, I knew I would be declined before I even submitted the application (I saw the other artists and they're out of my league). Still, I really could have used a W about now.
At least I have a fun concept to show for it. I suggested that I could draw all the FFVIII sorceresses as a metal band rocking out at a concert (playing to my wheelhouse). There's no reason I still can't.
Aside from the 2-month long art block that shows no sign of stopping. 😞
